As beeing inspired by the aural surrounding due to travelling around the globe- as a dj and author Travellers Almanach- the world’s finest magazine on our beloved and hatered jet set life- the Paper Frames EP contains some mixture of accoustic instruments, deepest bass levels and extraordinary rythm structures. ❝This 12″ was the first time I heard about John Roberts and I’m really not proud of it! I bought all of his latest releases in the last 3 weeks and I’m a huge fan of him now! When I check Discogs, for example, I don’t really understand the genre Deep House for his kind of music. Whatever, it doesn’t matter… Let’s talk about his latest masterpiece “Paper Frames” and I’ll keep it short. This EP is easily my personal favorite record of the last 2 months even with only 4 tunes on it. I just need to listen to the main track “Paper Frames” and it explaines everything to me. His attitude of sampling mixed with lovely sound arrangements is something very new for me!❞
