‘Frames‘ is all about creating music for the night. Getting lost within ambient lights, the gloominess of the night in a city that is covered with a layer of amber coloured fog and light. Indirect light from old lightbulbs with a yellow to orange glow fades into neon lights of shops and advertisements. Sounds of a dreamy morning, those magical hours while the rest of the world is still in a slumber. Just before the first rays of sunlight pierce through the morning fog and hit the dew at dawn.
Their first EP ‘Frames‘ by Stuart Thomas (Mountain Range) and Richard Meller (Will and Held) sits between alt-pop, ambient, hip-hop and techno. Inspired by the malleable nature of pop ideals and contemporary synthesis, its four tracks tell a story of two musicians finding their voice.
